Bait Al-Mawaddah
Bait al-Mawaddah was established to provide the Asnaf Fakir and Asnaf Miskin senior citizens with effective protection, supervision, rehabilitation and opportunity for self-development.
Established in 2014 by the Selangor Zakat Board, the Bait Al-Mawaddah Elderly Complex was built on a 3-acre plot of land in Kampung Jalan Kebun, Section 30 Shah Alam to provide shelter for Asnaf senior citizens in need.
Objective Bait Al-Mawaddah
Provide care and treatment to to ensure their well-being and quality of life
- Look after the welfare of senior citizens
- Create a healthy, energetic, cheerful, harmonious, loving and conducive environment for senior citizens
What are the eligibility requirements of Bait Al-Mawaddah?
Applicants must satisfy the following conditions:
- Muslim
- Asnaf Fakir Miskin and registered with LZS
- Aged 60 years and above (as per Jabatan Kebajikan Malaysia’s definition of senior citizens)
- Healthy, not bedridden and able to manage oneself
